CF 2026 Grow Out Contest - Leng Sy Monti

8:00 PM - Jan 31, 8:00 PM
Sacramento, CA

We’re running a 1-year growout featuring the legendary Leng Sy Monti (Leng Sy Cap) — a classic, recognizable Montipora with a cool history in the hobby. It’s known for a hybrid growth style, and its shape can change a lot depending on your lighting and (to a lesser extent) flow — which makes this growout especially fun to compare across different tanks. • Length: 1 year • Entry: $30 (includes your contest frag) • Grand Prize: $300 Coralicious Frags Gift Certificate • Runner Up Prize: 2x $50 Coralicious Frags Gift Certificate • Check-ins: Monthly photo submissions • Judging: Community vote (size, color, overall health) Same frag, different systems — let’s see who grows the most epic colony.

CF Photography Night

7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Antelope, CA

Coralicious Frags Photo Night is a small, hands-on meetup for reefers who want better tank photos. We’re keeping it tight (6 people) so everyone gets time at the tanks. Bring whatever you shoot with — phone rigs, DSLR/mirrorless cameras, tripods, filters, porthole/viewing tools, macro lenses, lights… anything in your kit. We’ll rotate through different tank conditions and setups, compare settings, and share real tips on getting sharper shots, better color, and cleaner focus without over-editing. Come ready to learn, geek out, and help each other level up. You’ll leave with new techniques and a stack of photos you’re actually proud to post.
